Garcia was born April 28, 1919, in New York City to Yetta (Schwartz) and Hyman Spatz.
Garcia is survived by her children, Beverly (John) Annunziata of White Plains, Linda (Ronald) Mosca of Palm City, Fla., Karen M. Garcia of Eastchester; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Garcia of Armonk; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Eva Lubitz of Portland, Ore. She was predeceased by her husband, John Sanchez Garcia, Jr.; her son, John Sanchez, III; and a brother Emmanuel Spatz.
Calling hours will be Thursday, April 25 from 3 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with interment to follow at Beechwood's Cemetery.
