Nicholas Joseph Cicogna, Of Hastings-On-Hudson, WWII Vet

HASTINGS, N.Y. - Nicholas Joseph Cicogna, a longtime resident of Hastings-on-Hudson, died March 10. He was 88.

Cicogna was born in the Bronx to Salvatore and Assunta Cicogna. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of the Lawrence F. Keane VFW Post in the Bronx.

Cicogna is survived by his wife, Genevieve; son Nicholas J. (Pilar Cazorla); sister, Grace Marotta; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Margaret Marino.


Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.
