DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Raymond J. Holser of Dobbs Ferry died Sept. 8. He was 63.
Holser owned and operated Stones 'N' Sterling, a jewelry business in Dobbs Ferry.
Born in Yonkers, he was the son of Frank and Josephine Holser. He attended Ardsley High School and the University of Buffalo. Holser married his wife, Joyce, in Ardsley on June 26, 1976.
He enjoyed traveling and fishing for blue fish on the Klondike. Holser was also an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Yankees. He also liked to relax on the front porch, completing the daily word jumble and attending to his fern plants.
Holser is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce; a son, Keith; a sister, Marianne McKeown; four sisters-in-laws, Ellen, Christine, Diane (Michael) and Carol; and two nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank.
Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Dobbs Ferry.
