Car Crashes Into Guiderail, Hits Building Near Parkway's Dobbs Ferry Exit

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – A 64-year-old Dobbs Ferry man escaped without injuries after his Subaru sedan crashed through a guiderail and into a building on Friday, Oct. 31.

Thirty feet of guiderail was damaged and removed.

The accident occurred around 12:26 a.m. when the driver appeared be to be going a little too fast and lost control while exiting the Saw Mill River Parkway southbound at Ashford Avenue in Dobbs Ferry, Westchester County Police said. 

There was minor damage to the structure, and 30 feet of guiderail was damaged and removed.

The Dobbs Ferry man did not sustain injuries, nor was he charged or issued any summonses.
