HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Someone vandalized two cars parked on Euclid Avenue in Hastings last week by spray painting the window of one and slashing the tires on the other.
A woman told police Aug. 27 that sometime that night the front windshield and driver’s side window of her 2012 BMW were sprayed with black spray paint and three tires were slashed on her 2012 Ford Suburban. Police are still investigating the incident.

- A 47-year-old Irvington resident told police Aug. 27 that $100 was taken from his TD Bank checking account from the Chase Bank ATM on Warburton Avenue on Aug. 4. The man told police he would attempt to get the bank surveillance to figure out who took the money.
- Police are investigating a case of criminal mischief after a 56-year-old Hastings resident reported Aug. 29 that his 2012 Hyundai was keyed while parked on Williams Street. The man said he discovered the crime Aug. 21.
- Police are investigating an incident of larceny after a 26-year-old Yonkers resident reported Aug. 30 that his North Face backpack was stolen from a common hallway at a building on Main Street, police said. The man said he left the bag in the hallway around 5:30 a.m. and noticed it was missing around 1 p.m. The backpack contained personal property, $500 cash and keys to his Hasting’s employer.
