Elmsford, White Plains Motorists Charged With DWI

State police troopers charged several motorists with driving while intoxicated on Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday, Oct. 2.

Those charged are as follows:

Saturday, Oct. 1

  • State Police from the Hawthorne barracks charged Bronx resident  Brett M. Donovan, 37, with driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. Troopers stopped Donovan on the Sprain Brook Parkway for failing to maintain his lane of travel and he was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop, police said. Donovan was also found to unlawfully possess a controlled substance. He was issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on Thursday, Oct. 13.
  • State Police from Hawthorne charged Elmsford resident Paul L. Deberry, II, 29, with aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated. following a two-car collision investigation. Deberry, who was charged with felony DWI due to a previous DWI-related conviction from 2013, is scheduled to appear in the Town of Greenberg Court on Friday, Oct. 14. 

Sunday, Oct. 2

  • State Police from Hawthorne charged Brookfield, Conn.. resident Paul Lukomski, with DWI, a aisdemeanor. Troopers stopped Lukomski on the Sprain Brook State Parkway for speeding. Lukomski provided a breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .10 percent and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Mount Pleasant Court at a later date and time, police said.
  •  State Police from Hawthorne charged White Plains resident William A. Irizary, 23, with DWI, a misdemeanor, after a two-car collision investigation conducted on the Sprain Brook Parkway..Irizarry is scheduled to appear in the Town of Greenberg Court on Monday, Oct. 10.
