IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- With the Irvington School District set to open Tuesday, police are cautioning motorists to pay particular attention when children are present.
The Irvington Police Department reminds drivers that passing a stopped school bus with red lights flashing is a serious and dangerous offense. A summons could result in a minimum $250 fine and five points on your driver’s license.
Police remind drivers that being late for an appointment or work is never worth risking the safety of children, and urge all motorists to operate their vehicles safely.
