Man Attempts To Rob Gas Station With Scissors, Yonkers Police Say

YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers Police are searching for a man who tried to hold up a gas station while armed with a pair of scissors, News 12 Westchester reports.

Police say the suspect entered the Shell station on Executive Boulevard on Sunday at about 1 a.m. and demanded cash, according to the report.

Investigators say the suspect did not steal any money, but took a pack of cigarettes and a Red Bull before fleeing, according to the report.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 5-foot-8 to 6-feet tall, the report said.
