DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. An Ossining man was arrested after the Dobbs Ferry Festa on Main Street following an altercation at the Celtic Crossing bar.
John Luzon, 38, was arrested around 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, and charged with fourth-degree disorderly conduct, a class A misdemeanor, after employees at the Celtic Crossing called police to report Luzon would not leave the area.
Luzon had contacted police himself earlier in the night to report that a bar patron had punched him in the eye. Luzon then went back to the bar and became unruly, police said.
When police showed up and asked Luzon to leave, he refused and became belligerent with the police. Police said Luzon appeared to be intoxicated during the incident.

Butterfly Knife: A Dobbs Ferry 15-year-old was arrested Saturday, Sept. 29, after police found a butterfly knife in the teens backpack, according to the police report. Police went to the Old Croton Aqueduct near Dobbs Ferry High School after a caller reported several youths were lighting a campfire. When police questioned the youths, the knife was found, the report says. The teen is to appear Thursday, Oct. 4, in Yonkers Family Court.
Sweater Stolen: A vendor at the Dobbs Ferry Festa reported that a $79 sweater was stolen from her booth between 4 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. The 51-year-old Stamford, Conn., woman was selling sweaters at the event when the item was taken.
School Theft: An employee at Springhurst Elementary School reported $229.50 worth of cash and checks belonging to the school district were taken from a classroom between 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 21. A Mac computer power cord also was taken from the classroom.
Wallet Stolen: A 22-year-old Pennsylvania woman reported her wallet was taken from the self-checkout lane at Stop & Shop in Dobbs Ferry on Friday, Sept. 28, between 1 and 2 p.m. The woman told police she was bringing items to her car when she realized she had forgotten her wallet in the store. When she returned, the wallet was gone. The wallet contained $30 cash and personal papers.
