Man Charged With DWI In Route 9 Stop

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – A Peekskill man was charged with DWI Sunday while driving on Route 9, reports the New York State Police.

Matthew Ashley, 27, was stopped for driving over 80 miles per hour. Once stopped, officers found that Ashley was intoxicated after a breath sample showed his blood alcohol content was .10 percent, officials say.

Ashley was directed to appear before the City of Peekskill Court Thursday, Sept. 24, according to state troopers.
