Man Stopped For Equipment Violation On Taconic Charged With DWI, Police Say

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Roberto Tejada, a 43-year old White Plains resident, was arrested and charged for driving while intoxicated by New York State Police in Hawthorne on Saturday, Sept. 7 at approximately 10:21 pm.

Tejada was stopped on the Taconic Parkway by police for an equipment violation and was found to be driving while intoxicated, according to a release by the New York State Police. 

Tejada was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of New Castle Court on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
