Papd Officer Stops Would-Be GWB Jumper After Crash On Other Side

Port Authority, NYPD and Palisades Interstate Parkway officers converged near the New York tower as the wreckage was cleared and an oil spill cleaned up, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.

Assisted by Lt. Michael Hennessey, Port Authority Police Officer Juan Guzman (in photo above) convinced the Manhattan man not to jump.

Guzman is one of the department's leader in suicide rescues.

The man was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for evaluation.
