DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. Dobbs Ferry police responded to cases this week including slashed tires and even stolen chickens.
Stolen Chickens Police said a 50-year-old Dobbs Ferry man reported two chickens were stolen from his coop on Palisade Street. Police said the man returned home from a trip on June 17 and saw the side mirror of his 2001 Chevy Blazer had been pushed in and the glass was broken. He also noticed the locking bar to the coop on the ground and the hatch door open. Police said the two chickens, a Rhode Island chicken and an Anaconda chicken, are valued at $90 collectively and the car mirror at $250.
Slashed Tires A 42-year-old Dobbs Ferry woman reported all four tires on her 2009 Honda Pilot were slashed on June 12. Police said the car was parked on Cedar Street. Police said there was $800 worth of damage to the tires.
Keyed Car A 44-year-old Dobbs Ferry man reported his 2001 Chevy Tahoe was keyed sometime overnight between June 11 and June 12 on Livingston Manor. Police said the man found his car keyed on his driver side from the front panel to the rear panel.
