Police: Graham School Student Attacked, Robbed

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Two female Graham School students were arrested after a pregnant 17-year-old classmate was attacked around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 21, police said. The pregnant student was waiting at a bus stop on Broadway when she was attacked and robbed of $10, police said.

The arrested students, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, were both charged with second-degree assault and second-degree robbery, both misdemeanors. The victim was taken to Dobbs Ferry hospital to treat a laceration above her left eye, swelling on her left arm and pain in her left leg. An off duty Yonkers police officer reported the incident to Hastings police who received additional assistance from Yonkers police. 

Bail was set at $5,000 for the 16-year-old and $15,000 for the 17-year-old. Both were unable to make bail and were transported to Westchester County Jail. They are set to appear in court Oct. 24.
