Reward Offered In Fatal Greenburgh Hit-And-Run Investigation

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help and a reward is being offered in hopes of identifying the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 23-year-old man, according to the Greenburgh Police Department.

The collision claimed the life of Darryl Chung, a town resident.

Crime Stoppers is offering $2,500 for any details surrounding the death.

Chung was walking along South Road sometime between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, when a car hit him in the back, police said.

The vehicle involved would have damage on the front passenger side of the vehicle, especially near the bumper and headlight, according to police.

Authorities have no other information regarding the car involved in Chung’s death.
