Ilonca Santana, 49, of Yonkers, is charged with petit larceny and falsifying business records, police said.
Santana allegedly stole $993 of toll revenue through altering transactions, court records show.
She has worked as a part-time toll collector for the state Thruway Authority for seven years, police said.
State auditors had alerted authorities about suspicious transactions earlier this month.
During the investigation, police say they discovered that Santana had stolen toll funds and forged a paper ledger report.
Santana was released on her own recognizance, pending a Village of Tarrytown Court appearance scheduled for July 1, court records show.
