Officer Derrick Purdie's suit alleges he was repeatedly told to resign his position during a meeting with Chief Scott Brown in April, and if he refused to do so, he would be charged with felony criminal mischief for reportedly breaking the lock on the office door of Lt. Donald McGee, LoHud.com reported.
Purdie also alleges Brown and McGee had a locksmith charge more than $250 to repair the lock in order to procure the felony charge, LoHud.com said.
