Three-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Westchester

It took firefighters several hours to contain a three-alarm blaze that broke out at noontime Saturday in Mount Vernon.

The fire caused considerable damage to the two-story commercial building at 23 Mount Vernon Ave.

No injuries were immediately reported as the firefighters contended with sub-zero wind chills.
