Joseph Pleasant, 35, of New York; Marc Rispers, 31, of the Bronx; and Michael Jordan, 31, also of New York entered the Suds Car Wash on McLean Ave. on May 21, 2013 with semi-automatic pistols and robbed the establishment of more than $1,000 cash and two credit cards, the district attorney said.
Police witnessed the three suspects leaving the scene and attempted to pull their vehicle over. A high-speed pursuit ensued through Yonkers and onto the Thruway before the suspects crashed into a guard rail in Ardsley, the district attorney said.
Pleasant, who was driving the getaway vehicle, was convicted on a total of 14 counts and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Rispers was convicted on eight assorted charges received 20 years, while Jordan, was sentenced to 15 years, the district attorney said.
