County Police detectives launched an investigation into Thomas Corrigan, 53, earlier this year after receiving a tip regarding illegal activity at a residence in the Lake Allendale neighborhood of Cortlandt. On Wednesday, investigators executed the warrant, where they discovered a marijuana grow operation in the basement of the home.

Police said that 17 pounds of marijuana and four illegal handguns were seized during the operation. Corrigan was arrested at his Richmond Place home and charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon, felonies. He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Corrigan was booked at County Police Headquarters overnight and arraigned in Cortlandt County Court on Thursday afternoon. Corrigan was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $5,000 bond. He is due back in court on March 29 to answer the charges.
