Wind Fells Tree Onto Roof Of Ardsley Hotel

ARDSLEY, N.Y. ‒ High winds blew a tree onto the roof of the Apple Motor Inn early Thursday morning, causing damage to the roof but no injuries, Ardsley police said. 

Police say mishap at the hotel on Saw Mill River Road occurred around 12:50 a.m. The Ardsley Fire Department responded along with the Ardsley police to clear the damage.

Police said the tree did not break through the roof. The hotel remained open for business on Thursday.
