Christine D. O’Neill, 36, is charged with felony fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, police said.
O’Neill allegedly rear-ended another driver’s vehicle near milepost marker 1.5 on the Sprain Brook Parkway on Tuesday, according to police.
Upon further investigation, officials learned that O’Neill was in possession of PCP.
PCP, commonly referred to as “Angel Dust,” has been around since the 1950s, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
O’Neill is being held in the Westchester County Jail, pending an appearance in the case on Thursday, Jan. 15, in the City of Yonkers Court.
