YONKERS, N.Y. -- Officer Christopher Dellacamera, a 16-year veteran of the Yonkers Police Department, was arraigned in Westchester County Court on Tuesday afternoon in relation to an arrest warrant issued by the Broward County Circuit Court in Florida on racketeering charges, according to a police statement.

Dellacamera voluntarily surrendered to members of the Yonkers Police Department Internal Affairs Division and he was subsequently transported to the Westchester County Courthouse, where he was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

Yonkers police said they are not releasing any further information at this time.

The racketeering charges stem from Dellacamera's alleged involvement in a ring that took sports bets and laundered the money, according to LoHud.com.
