The district proposes to raise taxes 4.5 percent, an increase of $33.58 per thousand dollars of assessed value, to cover its proposed $40,084,321 spending plan. The tax rate equates to $775.69 per thousand dollars of assessed value.
Three incumbents and one new candidate are on the ballot to fill three seats on the school board.
Board members Jeff O’Donnell, Meg Lauer and Mike Goldman are running to keep their seats and Louis Schwartz will challenge them for a three-year term on the board.
