DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - The Dobbs Ferry School District will hold its school board election and 2013-14 budget vote Tuesday at Dobbs Ferry High School from 7 a.m. to 9 pm.

The district proposes to raise taxes 4.5 percent, an increase of $33.58 per thousand dollars of assessed value, to cover its proposed $40,084,321 spending plan. The tax rate equates to $775.69 per thousand dollars of assessed value.

Three incumbents and one new candidate are on the ballot to fill three seats on the school board.
