Hastings Re-Elects Mayor, Two Trustees In Uncontested Vote

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Hastings Mayor Peter Swiderski and Trustees Bruce Jennings and Meg Walker won re-election Tuesday in an uncontested vote in the village elections.

The three Democrats drew a low turnout of 132 voters with no challengers filing for the elections. Swiderski received 98 votes; Jennings, 92; and Walker, 89.

Eugene Calamari received six votes as a write-in for mayor, and Patrick Randolf Bell got two votes. Michelle Porter received 20 votes, Marvin Winn two votes and Ann Scholl and Patrick Randolph Belll had one vote each for trustee.
