WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Westchester County residents will go to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in an off-year election that features several county government races, including the long-debated battle between incumbent Republican County Executive Rob Astorino and challenger Noam Bramson, the Democratic mayor of New Rochelle.

Most of the town and village government races in the Rivertowns, Tarrytown-Irvington and Greenburgh are uncontested. There also are several statewide propositions and referendums  up for vote, including issues on casino gambling and age limits for certain state judges.

County Legislator Mary Jane Shimsky is running unopposed for her seat in the 12th District, which includes Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings, Irvington and parts of unincorporated Greenburgh-Edgemont and most of Hartsdale.

TOWN OF GREENBURGH Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, Town Clerk Judith Beville, Town Council Members Francis X. Sheehan and Diana Juettner and Receiver of Taxes Anne Povella - Unopposed.

DOBBS FERRY Mayor Hartley Connett, Village Trustees Victor Golio, Vincent Rossillo and Catherine Kay, Village Judge Steven Grant - Unopposed

IRVINGTON Mayor Brian Smith, Trustees Kristen Woll and Constance Kehoe - Unopposed

ARDSLEY Mayor Peter Porcino, Trustees Mollie Moni and Andy Di Justo -- Unopposed
