Azeez Powell, who also pleaded guilty last year for punching a male nurse in the face, was arrested at his Bayside Place home in Jersey City yesterday afternoon for contact that Port Authority spokesman Joseph Pentangelo said he made with a female PATH commuter Wednesday morning.

Powell, 32, is charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault.

Port Authority police arrested Powell in April 2012 after a woman said he exposed himself to her on a PATH train that had just pulled into the Newport station — one of several lewdness arrests on his record.

Powell has an extensive rap sheet for offenses and convictions that include improper conduct, drug possession and lewdness.

He is also awaiting sentencing in connection with an attack on a nurse at Bayonne Medical Center, court records show.
