NYACK, N.Y. -- Ann Donzella, a resident of Nyack, died Thursday, Feb. 25. She was 87.
Donzella worked at Camp Shanks, Lederlee Labs, Upper Nyack School as crossing guard, at Temple Beth Israel, Presidential Life Insurance and the Nyack Library. She was a member of St Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Nyack, where she was a member of the Rosary Society and Choir. She also belonged to Empire H&L Compnay 1 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Vincent and his wife Elaine; her daughter-in-law Susan; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Rachel, Kristina and Allison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, George; her son, Joseph, seven brothers, Tony, Joe, Carl, Leon, Andy, Jimmy and Septimo; and a sister, Freida Anello.
Visiting will be Tuesday, March 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Hannemann Funeral Home Inc. in Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Nyack.
