Man Indicted For Murder In Fatal Plainfield Shooting

A Plainfield man who was found at the Baltimore home of a family member after he was charged with murder has been indicted on charges stemming from the fatal shooting, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday.

Djuan Gamble, 26, shot and killed 32-year-old Jacquan Heyward of Plainfield at the Liberty Village housing complex May 26, authorities said. Gamble was identified as a suspect and charged June 12. He was arrested by US Marshals in Baltimore July 3. 

He has been indicted on charges of murder and two weapons offenses, If convicted, he could face 30 years to life in prison.
