New York City Ballet Dancer Fairchild Feels At Home In Dobbs Ferry

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Megan Fairchild, a Dobbs Ferry resident and principal dancer with New York City Ballet who will be making her Broadway debut in the 1944 musical "On The Town," feels right at home in Westchester, according to a report by The New York Times.

Fairchild and her husband, Andrew Veyette, who also is a New York City Ballet principal, have lived in Dobbs Ferry since 2010 in a late-19th-century Federal-style house with the original staircase and pocket doors and pine floors, the report said. 

There also are two more bedrooms available upstairs for when the couple decides to have children and a backyard for their two dogs their basket hound Trudy and mixed-breed rescue puppy Hobbs, the report said. 

Fairchild reports feeling that she won the lottery when she and Veyette moved to Dobbs Ferry, the report said.
