ARDSLEY, N.Y. - The Ardsley School District will begin formulating a Strategic Plan during a focus group conversation Jan. 9  at 7 p.m.

The meeting, in the Ardsley High School cafeteria,  offers residents an opportunity to provide input that will help guide the district's work preparing students for college and beyond over the next three to five years.

According to a statement by the Ardsley School District, the plan will include steps "ensuring that every student achieves academically to his/her maximum potential and ability and to prepare students for the 21st century colleges, careers and citizenship."

The discussion will include the Strategic Plan goals in response to the following questions:

• What do we want our students to know, understand and be able to do when they graduate
from our District?

• What is student achievement?  What else do we value beyond academics?

• Which programs, courses, and activities do we want to maintain or replace?

For more information, log on to the district's site.
