Ardsley Schools To Host Educator, Author Yong Zhao

ARDSLEY, N.Y. - Dr. Yong Zhao, author of "World Class Learners," will visit Ardsley Middle School on April 18 for a presentation on technology and education.

Zhao has designed schools that cultivate global competence and developed computer games for language learning. He has founded research and development institutions to explore innovative education models and has published more than 100 articles and 20 books.

He is also the Presidential Chair of Global Education and Online Learning at the University of Oregon, where he also serves as the Associate Dean for Global Education and Online Learning and the Director of Center for Advanced Technology in Education.

The presentation begins at 10 a.m., and attendees must register for the event.
