Dobbs Ferry-Based Mercy College Hosts International Exchange Program

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry has been invited to be a host institution for the Open World (OW) Leadership Program, an international professional exchange program that brings small delegations of emerging leaders to the U.S. to learn about the country's government and society.

Mercy will host five lawyers from Kosovo who will observe the American democratic process firsthand. 

While visiting the area the lawyers will be engaged in programs that address the themes of federalism and representative government, rule of law, health, environment, economic development, education reform and social services.

Mercy College is currently looking for host families that can give the five lawyers a place to stay between Saturday, Jan. 11 and Saturday, Jan. 18.  All visitors speak English and will not need a translator.
