Burns and class President Dick Carelli will be using the drawing to help raise money for a college scholarship for a Dobbs Ferry senior.
To raise funds, Burns made up note cards with the drawing on the front of the card that they will offer to classmates over reunion weekend. He has gifted the design to the school district to use for future fundraising to add to the scholarship.
Burns, Carelli and the Class of 1964 will gather in the high school lobby for a presentation of the drawing to Schools Superintendent Lisa Brady.
Prior to the presentation at 9 a.m., class members will gather for a tour of the high school led by Athletic Director Jim Lindsay, also a DFHS graduate. While Carelli was class president, he and Burns were co-captains of the ttack team and Burns was also the head of the Boys Glee Club and assistant red cross representative.
