Dobbs Ferry Schools Using Comedy to Raise Money

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- The Dobbs Ferry School District will be hosting a Comedy Night fundraiser on Thursday with proceeds going toward middle school trips. The event runs from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the high school/middle school auditorium and will feature performances by the Peoples Improv Theatre All-Stars.

“We are raising money to help fund all three middle school trips: Washington DC, Philadelphia and Medieval Times,” said PTSA member Cathy Cattabiani in a statement.  “There are families who can't contribute in this economic climate and we want all the students to have the chance to be part of these memorable trips.”

Tickets can be purchased online for $15 or $20 at the door on the night of the show.
