The foreign exchange program will begin in spring 2015. Mercy College faculty members will also have opportunities to go to Rikkyo.
“I’m excited to expand the opportunities of our students to study abroad and for our campus to be enriched by foreign exchange students,” Hall said. “These kind of student exchange programs are transformational, both in the lives of our students and in the broader life of the college itself.”
Sheila Gersh, director of the Center for Global Engagement, added, “Providing Mercy students with diverse options for study abroad is a key aim of the college’s Center for Global Education, towards helping Mercy students to become better global citizens.”
