HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Classes are canceled for Thursday because of excessive heat, the Hastings School District announced Wednesday evening.
The forecast calls for temperatures to reach as high as 96 degrees by Thursday afternoon.
Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2012 will go on as scheduled Thursday evening. Commencement is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Reynolds Field. In case of rain, ceremonies will be held in Cochran Gym.
