Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley Schools Closed Thursday

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson and Ardsley school districts announced late Wednesday afternoon that all schools would remain closed Thursday due to continuing problems with power outages and other repairs in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Decisions on continued closings or possibly reopening the schools will be made by the respective school districts sometime Thursday.

Power outages and the cleanup of fallen trees and other debris continue to make local roadways difficult to travel, and many homes remain without power.
