Hastings Senior Named Outstanding Participant In Achievement Program

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Hastings High School senior Campbell Silverstein has been named a 2015 National Achievement Program Outstanding Participant Referred to Colleges.

To earn the recognition, he scored in the top three percent of more than 160,000 black Americans who requested consideration in the 2015 National Achievement Scholarship Program when he took the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

A roster of these students’ names, high school, and tentative college major choices is being sent to about 1,500 colleges and universities.
