Hastings Welcomes New Teachers

HASTINGS, N.Y. -- The Hastings-on-Hudson Union Free School District is getting some new blood.

The school district announced its new teachers for the 2017-2018 school year. The high school is adding six new teachers.

Farragut Middle School is adding three teachers, while Hillside Elementary School is adding 11 teachers, including John Dekams as assistant principal.

Tesfa Stewart is the new district-wide Assistant Director of Special Education.
