Community residents, faculty members, and parents visited the exhibit held Tuesday, May 19, according to a press release from the Irvington Union Free School District.

Nina Rossi, chairwoman of the art department and an art teacher at Main Street School, and art teacher Sandy Duffield coordinated the event.

The Irvington Education Foundation and the Irvington PTSA provided some of the funds necessary for the artwork, such as display boards for mounting pieces.

Students from kindergarten through fifth-grade contributed work for the show.

Pieces ranged from depictions of cities made with construction paper to abstract “Shades of Gray” paintings.
