ISIS Crisis Will Be Discussed At Mercy College Lecture In Dobbs Ferry

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- As part of the Visiting Scholar Lecture Series, Mercy College will be hosting David L. Phillips, director of Peace-building and Rights Program Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Phillips is visiting scholar at the Mercy College Center for Global Engagement and will discuss the ISIS crisis from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lecture Hall in the Main Hall. A reception will follow. 

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Phillips as a visiting scholar to the Center for Global Engagement where he will share his decades of experience in peace building with our students, and contribute to our efforts to advance global knowledge at Mercy College," said Sheila Offman Gersh, executive director of Mercy College Center for Global Engagement.
