Paul Tobin, principal of the school in the Greenburgh-Graham School District, said his troop of volunteer gardeners have been planting and tending flowers that surround the Station Cafe's plaza.
"The kids dedicated planters and planted flowers for Avi Schwartz (owner) at the station café," Tobin said. "They will to go every Thursday during school year and there will be 15 students per week in the school's Positive Behavior Intervention Systems program."
Tobin said Schwartz is a community partner who has the MLK students down each Thursday for muffins and hot chocolate as part of a reward incentive for being good students and citizens.
