IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Seventh-graders at Irvington Middle School in Angela Druzic’s Spanish class demonstrated everything they’ve learned so far by having conversations with each other in Spanish.
Students paired off to practice greeting each other and asking questions, such as what is your name, what is the weather like today and what day is it.
They then gave presentations in front of their classmates, who also had to answer questions to show their understanding of the language.
The activity was part of the seventh-grade review unit of “Greetings, Salutations and –AR Verbs.”
