Dobbs Ferry's Slattery Attends Stepinac's Hardwood Club Induction Ceremony

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Members of Archbishop Stepinac High School’s 1970-‘71 Varsity Basketball team were inducted recently into the school’s Hardwood Club at an induction ceremony held in the school gymnasium.

Kay and Brad Steinthal of Rye Brook received the Hardwood Club Service Award. Kyle Walsh of White Plains (Class of ’98) and Stephen Mullery III of McLean, Va (Class of ’85) were inducted.

The following members of the 1970-1971 basketball team were in attendance: Brian Lynch of Glenn Rock, N.J.; George Dwyer of Fort Myers, Fla., Bill Kolman of Ossining;  Dan Donovan of Vernona, N.J. and Gene Slattery of Dobbs Ferry.

As in the past, this year’s group of Hardwood Club inductees personifies Stepinac’s storied tradition of excellence on the court and accomplishments off the court.
