Two Incumbents On Ballot For Hastings School Board

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Hastings School Board will remain the same for the next term with two incumbents and no challengers up for election when residents vote on May 21.

The Hastings Board of Education will have two incumbents, Caryn Campbell and Wendy Naidich,  running unnopposed in the May 21 elections.

Board members Caryn Campbell and Wendy Naidich are running for the two seats.  Campbell is running for her fourth three-year term and Naidich for her third.

Village residents will also vote on the 2013-2014 school budget, which is proposed at $43,895,492 up $1,187,026 from the 2012-2013 budget at an incearse of 2.78 percent.

The Hastings School Board will hold its final school budget hearing on May 7 and release the proposed budget on May 8 with a final notice on May 17.
