ARDSLEY, N.Y. - The Ardsley Little League will officially open the 2013 season Saturday with its annual Opening Day Parade beginning at 1 p.m.
The parade, which marks the 58th season for the league, is set to begin at Concord Road and will end at the McDowell Park, where opening ceremonies will be held.
The league schedule began Monday, and teams and players will have their pictures taken beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday before the parade.
Neal Krumper, president of the Ardsley Little League, said it supported 55 teams in 11 divisions with 570 children participating in 2012 and the league expected more kids this year.
"Our league has grown over the past few seasons and we look forward to further strengthening our league with increased registration numbers in the upcoming season," Krumper said in his letter to club members.
