The event is for girls and boys grades 3-5 and parents; no children below third grade permitted.
The Home Run Project is an interactive, entertaining literacy program for children in grades 3-5 that uses the real-life stories of the people and players of Major League baseball to encourage critical thinking and writing skills. Admission is free.
Led by Stan Friedmann, author of “The Macmillan Book of baseball Stories” and “The Good Guys of Baseball,” the program has been presented at The National baseball Hall of Fame and The Yogi Berra Museum.
