Dobbs Ferry Recreation Girls Basketball Takes Court At Mercy College

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Two Dobbs Ferry Recreation girls basketball teams will be featured Saturday, Jan. 8 at halftime of the Mercy College women's basketball game.

The fifth and sixth grade girls youth basketball teams will be playing each other at halftime of the Mercy College game against New York Institute of Technology team that tips off at 12:30 p.m.

Dobbs Ferry Recreation Superintendent Matt Arone said the girls teams, coached by Josh Kimerling and Brandon Brailsford

"Mercy College men’s basketball coach Adam Parmenter and I met recently and organized this fun community event," Arone said. "I will ref the game for the kids."
