Sheridan began her rowing career as a high school freshman and has rowed through the fall, winter and spring since. She is a New York State Scholastic Rowing Scholar Athlete and a member of the National Honor Society.

The soon-to-been Fairfield student rows for the Pelham Community Rowing Association.

"I was recruited by several other schools such as Villanova and Saint Joseph’s in Philadelphia. "I chose Fairfield because I really connected with the coaches and team and felt it had a really good balance of athletics and academics."

Sheridan also had a close connection at the Connecticut college.

"My sister is currently a Junior at Fairfield, so I know the school very well," Sheridan said. "I plan to study accounting and am very excited to be both attending Fairfield, as well as being able to row for them."
